Our project teams have ensured that communities even in remote, rural project areas are following strict social distancing norms. Unlike us, these families don’t have the luxury of being able to stay at home and they do need to step out and utilize shared public facilities like water sources, washrooms etc. However, our project teams have been working hard to spread awareness and ensure that basic hygiene norms are followed strictly. Handwash and sanitizers have been made available and the strictest social distancing norms are being followed by men, women and children.
Even while collecting water – women and community members are making sure they maintain the proper distances and wash their hands carefully before touching the common water sources.
We hope and pray that communities and their children remain safe.
