Staying safe

Young girls at our projects in the textile belt in the southern part of India – are putting their sewing skills to use helping our country fight against this situation. With very basic training and following the norms laid down by the government – they are stitching masks that are then being distributed to communities and children to keep them safe. These girls are at the Sumangali – Care T project in Coimbatore and at the Psycho Trust project in Karur, Tamil Nadu and are doing what they can to keep people safe during this crisis.
