KHOJ is a civil society organisation based in Chhattisgarh, India, working with Adivasi and forest-dependent communities across Central India. Guided by the philosophy of Jangal + Jeevan + Jeevika, it focuses on the deep interconnection between forests, lives, and livelihoods. The organisation supports Gram Sabhas, women leaders, youth, and local institutions to strengthen community-led forest governance, ecological restoration, and climate-resilient development. By blending local knowledge with collective learning, KHOJ enables long-term stewardship of forests and natural resources. Over the years, its work has contributed to stronger community institutions, improved forest governance, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. With approaches such as agroecology, ecosystem-based adaptation, and nature-based solutions, KHOJ believes that lasting change is built by communities themselves, and its role is to walk alongside them, helping people and nature thrive together.

Chaupal conducts field operations, capacity building, and research studies in Surguja and Koriya districts in northern Chhattisgarh. Chaupal's main intervention from the beginning was to improve access to food and nutrition services for the poor. Later, community mobilisation to access health and care services became another key intervention. Working on these demands helped Chaupal create a strong organisation of the poor and marginalised.

The Public Health Resource Network (PHRN) is a growing network of individuals and organisations with the perspective of strengthening technical and management capacity to take action towards the common goal of "Health for All". PHRN's areas of work are to conduct learning programmes for public health professionals within and outside the government, strengthen community processes, promote networks, and conduct appropriate research and policy discussions to achieve the goal of "Health for All."
